OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

This page highlights some of the activities I have been involved in throughout my undergraduate career.  This is not an extensive account of all of the activities that have kept me busy at Clemson, but the ones that follow have certainly been the most meaningful.

Kappa Delta Sorority

I joined Kappa Delta during my freshman year.  As I started college during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, being part of a sorority was a really great outlet to meet people and to get involved in the community.  For several of the semesters I have been at Clemson, Kappa Delta has had the highest GPA of all of the sororities.  I worked on the Computer Team and actively recruited during Sorority Recruitment different years.  Both were valuable experiences that taught me a lot.  Every year, I participated in the Shamrock 5K and fundraised for it, which raises money for PCAA (Prevent Child Abuse America) and The Parenting Place of Easley.

Clemson University Student Government

I joined the Judicial Branch of Clemson University Student Government the fall of my freshman year, and have been a Judicial Board Member for all four years.  I also have served as a Supreme Court Justice.  I chose to get involved in it, because I always considered becoming a lawyer, even though I had not totally decided to go to law school until my junior year.  I have really enjoyed my time adjudicating student conduct cases.  The Judicial Branch works with the OCES (Office of Community and Ethical Standards).  I have taken away many valuable lessons and skills that will serve me well in law school.

Clemson University Honors College

One of the reasons I chose to attend Clemson was its honors program.  I lived in the Honors Residential College my freshman year, and I met some of my very best friends (pictured above).  Many of my favorite classes and professors taught my honors classes.  I particularly loved my honors psychology course and my economics courses.  I also had the opportunity to complete an honors contract for my Spanish for International Business II course, which consisted of research and a final paper.  It was an extremely enlightening and useful experience.  Along with the Honors College, I have been a member of a few honors societies: Phi Beta Kappa, Order of Omega, and Omicron Delta Kappa.
